Continue ShoppingHusband and wife team Ed Edmunds and Marsha Taub-Edmunds are owners of Distortions Unlimited, a Halloween manufacturing company and online Halloween store that has been "Making Monsters" since 1978!
Ed and Marsha are hands on when it comes to the design of all their creatures. The above photo shows them giving feedback on the Pumpkin Stalker head sculpted by Tom Cassidy. They take pride in building, along with their amazing team, professional quality and artistic animatronics, props, masks, costumes and displays for a variety of customers. Their creations are used by Halloween events, home haunters, theme parks, haunted houses, horror fans, monster lovers, and collectors.
Ed founded Distortions in 1978 and began by making latex monster and alien masks that have now become highly collectible. Marsha started working at Distortions part-time in 1983 but Ed and Marsha became co owners of the company in 1988 and got married in 1992. Ed and Marsha Edmunds turned their mutual love for the artistic and imaginative from a one-room operation into a warehouse full of “designers, artists, carpenters, sculptors, painters, pourers, patchers, seamers, welders, woodworkers, mold makers, sprayers, shippers, seamstresses, cutters, electricians, assemblers, managers, and office staff”—all working together to create some of the scariest monsters, props and animatronics in the Halloween, haunt and theme park industry.
Ed and Marsha Edmunds were featured, along with their amazong crew on The Travel Channel series Making Monsters. Today you can follow their adventures on their Youtube channel and social media platforms.
