Each year Distortions goes to the Transworld Halloween & Attractions Show, now in St. Louis, to connect with the Halloween and haunt industry, present our new products, write orders, get inspired, and have fun. It is a lot of work and prep to get ready for a big show like Transworld, developing the new products and preparing the booth, but it is well worth the effort. In addition to new products we often bring a variety of Frightronics, animatronics, props and Shocktronics from previous years, along with some bigger items to show.
The convention is located right in the Downtown, close to the river and the Arch. Downtown St. Louis is a nice place for the show with lots of friendly people, good BBQ and restaurants within walking distance.
In recent years we have begun to film highlight videos from the tradeshow as well. There are some many talented and diverse companies that display at the show and its fun to feature a sampling of them. Animatronics, zombies, gore, escape rooms, corn mazes, media companies, lighting, ticketing, marketing, masks, and costuming of all sorts fill the show. Transworld is an industry show for those thinking about opening or currently operating a haunted attraction, corn maze, farm, pumpkin patch, paintball field, family fun center, amusement park, zoo, aquarium, Halloween retail store or anything Halloween-related.
We are now busy fulfilling orders that we took at the show in March. If you are in the industry or are considering jumping in we would encourage you to visit the Transworld website and consider coming to Transworld 2019 to see us. We are already looking forward to seeing the many great people again who attend the show!
